Insights Chat

How chat operates inside insight workflows as a context-backed workspace, including persisted history and message removal.

Insights Chat brings conversational assistance into the insight workflow without detaching it from source material, notes, linked trials, evidence, and persisted history.

Keep the conversation attached

The chat experience is designed to stay inside the insight workspace. That means the useful unit is not just the last answer, but the surrounding sources, the linked records, and the conversation history that explains how the team got there.

Use it inside an insight workspace

Insights Chat is the right fit when:

  • the team is already working in an insight workspace
  • the question depends on compiled sources and linked evidence
  • the conversation itself may need to be revisited later as part of the working record

Govern external evidence

When organization Preferences include allowed web domains, Insights Chat requests governed external enrichment for each answer. That lets questions about literature, prior trials, registries, or regulatory precedent use approved sources such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA, or EMA alongside the workspace record.

External results stay policy-bound. The answer can use only the workspace context and enrichment sections returned for that run, and the chat record keeps provenance so reviewers can distinguish workspace material from allowed web findings.

Correct deliberately

Message removal should be treated as a controlled correction path, not casual cleanup. Teams should still review sources directly and avoid treating chat output as evidence on its own.
