Connect TrialStack Catalyst to Claude
Connect Claude to TrialStack, confirm your access, and make your first request.
Connect Claude to ask questions about your TrialStack data and prepare governed changes from a conversation.
You need a TrialStack account with Catalyst access. Use this connection address when Claude asks for the connector URL:
https://api.trialstack.com/mcp
You sign in with your own TrialStack account. Your existing organizations and permissions determine what Claude can access.
Connect Claude, Claude Desktop, or Cowork
- Open Customize and select Connectors.
- Add a custom connector and enter the connection address above.
- Connect, sign in to TrialStack, review the requested access, and approve.
- Enable Catalyst in conversations that should use TrialStack.
If your organization uses Claude Team or Enterprise, an owner must first add the connector under Organization settings → Connectors. Individual members then connect their own TrialStack identity. See Claude’s custom connector guide for current administration details.
Optional: connect Claude Code
Use this option if you work with Claude from a terminal:
claude mcp add \
--transport http \
--scope user \
trialstack-catalyst \
https://api.trialstack.com/mcp
Type /mcp, select trialstack-catalyst, and complete browser authentication.
Make your first request
Use TrialStack Catalyst to find operations related to trials. Do not make changes.
Then switch organizations without reconnecting:
Which TrialStack organizations can I access? Use Novartis for the next request.
Claude should confirm the selected organization. An empty result is valid when that organization contains no matching records; it does not mean the connection failed.
For a change, ask Claude to show a preview without applying it. Approve the preview only in your next message. See Model Context Protocol (MCP) for the complete connection and approval model and troubleshooting.
