Trials provide the governing trial record. Interventions capture the therapies, treatments, or other intervention context attached to that trial.

Why it matters

• a trial needs its intervention context maintained separately but linked
• reviewers need to understand which interventions belong to a trial
• intervention updates affect trial-facing planning or analysis
