TrialStack Catalyst

Work with governed TrialStack data from Codex, Claude, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

TrialStack is the clinical development system for teams and agents. Catalyst lets you work with TrialStack from a supported AI app, without giving that app unrestricted access to your data.

You can ask Catalyst to find trial information, review records, and prepare permitted changes. TrialStack continues to control who can access each organization and what they can do.

What you can do

Use everyday requests such as:

  • “Show the trials I can access in Novartis.”
  • “Summarize the current design for this trial.”
  • “Find missing information in this trial record.”
  • “Prepare a change to this milestone, but do not apply it.”

Catalyst uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard way for AI apps to connect to external systems. You do not need to understand MCP to use Catalyst.

How Catalyst keeps you in control

  • You sign in as yourself. Catalyst uses your TrialStack account.
  • You choose the organization. One connection can work across every organization you are allowed to access.
  • Your plan and permissions still apply. Your organization needs an active Accelerate or Scale plan, and Catalyst cannot grant access that you do not already have in TrialStack.
  • You approve changes. Catalyst shows a preview first. Nothing changes until you approve that preview in a later message.
  • TrialStack stays authoritative. AI output is a proposal until it passes the relevant TrialStack review or approval process.

Connect your app

Every app connects to the same TrialStack service and follows the same access and approval rules.

What a typical request looks like

  1. Ask Catalyst which organizations you can access.
  2. Choose the organization you want to work in.
  3. Ask a question or request a read-only review.
  4. If you want a change, ask Catalyst to prepare it.
  5. Review the organization, record, proposed values, and expiry time.
  6. Approve or reject the preview in your next message.

You can switch organizations during a conversation. You do not need to disconnect and sign in again.

Try your first request

Use TrialStack Catalyst to list the organizations I can access. Do not make changes.

If an organization has no matching trials, Catalyst may return an empty list. That is a valid result, not a broken connection.
